From the Pittsburgh International Airport
Exit the Pittsburgh International Airport following signs to Pittsburgh via Route 60. (Though you will stay straight on this “Penn Lincoln Parkway” it becomes Route 22/30 East and joins with Route 279.) Remain on this highway for approximately 12 miles at which time you will enter the Fort Pitt Tunnels. (You may want to approach the tunnels in the right lane to be prepared for the next exit.)
Once you are through the tunnels, you will be on the Fort Pitt Bridge. Remain in the right lane, following signs for Interstate 376 East. The next exit, which will be on the left, is Grant Street. Take this exit and stay on Grant Street to Seventh Avenue.
At Seventh Avenue turn right. Bearing to the right on Seventh Avenue, you will proceed up a ramp (following signs to Consol Energy Center.) As you approach the top of the ramp, stay in the right lane until you come to a light (at Seventh Avenue and Washington Place). Make a right onto Washington Place.
Then, staying on Washington Place you will come to another set of lights (at Washington and Sixth Avenue). Continue straight and The Chatham Center Complex and parking garage will be on your right.
From Interstate 79 North
If you are coming from the south of Pittsburgh along Interstate 79 North, exit onto Interstate 279 at “Exit 14, Pittsburgh.” Remain on this highway and enter the Fort Pitt Tunnels. (You may want to approach the tunnels in the right lane to be prepared for the next exit.)
Once you are through the tunnels, you will be on the Fort Pitt Bridge. Remain in the right lane, following signs for Interstate 376 East. The next exit, which will be on the left, is Grant Street. Take this exit and stay on Grant Street to Seventh Avenue.
At Seventh Avenue turn right. Bearing to the right on Seventh Avenue, you will proceed up a ramp (following signs to Consol Energy Center.) As you approach the top of the ramp, stay in the right lane until you come to a light (at Seventh Avenue and Washington Place).
Make a right onto Washington Place. Then, staying on Washington Place in what has now become the middle lane, you will come to another set of lights (at Washington and Sixth Avenue).
Continue straight and The Chatham Center Complex and parking garage will be on your right.
From Interstate 79 South
If you are traveling from the north of Pittsburgh, heading south on Interstate 79, bear left at the Interstate 279 split. This juncture is clearly marked “Pittsburgh.” Follow 279 to “Exit 14, Veterans Bridge.” This becomes Route 579. Cross Veterans Bridge and get in the middle lane to exit at “Sixth Avenue Exit” (Consol Energy Center).
Follow signs for the Consol Energy Center. Bear left and you will then come to a set of traffic lights. Turn left at the traffic signal onto Bigelow Boulevard. Proceed one block to the next traffic signal and turn right.
Continue through the next intersection to Washington Place. The Chatham Center Complex and parking garage will be on your right.
From Route 28 South
If you are traveling on Route 28 South, continue to the Veterans Bridge Exit. (The Heinz plant will be on your left.) Cross Veterans Bridge and get in the middle lane to exit at “Sixth Avenue Exit” (Consol Energy Center).
Follow signs for the Consol Energy Center. Bear left and you will then come to a set of traffic lights. Turn left at the traffic signal onto Bigelow Boulevard. Proceed one block to the next traffic signal and turn right.
Continue through the next intersection to Washington Place. The Chatham Center Complex and parking garage will be on your right.
From Pennsylvania Turnpike (east of Pittsburgh)
If you are traveling on the Pennsylvania Turnpike from points east of Pittsburgh, take the “Monroeville Exit/Exit 57 (Old Exit 6)” to Interstate 376.
Follow Interstate 376 for approximately 13 miles to the “Grant Street Exit.” Take this exit and stay on Grant Street to Seventh Avenue.
At Seventh Avenue turn right. Bearing to the right on Seventh Avenue, you will proceed up a ramp (following signs to Consol Energy Center.) As you approach the top of the ramp, stay in the right lane until you come to a light (at Seventh Avenue and Washington Place).
Make a right onto Washington Place. Then, staying on Washington Place you will come to another set of lights (at Washington and Sixth Avenue). Continue straight and The Chatham Center Complex and parking garage will be on your right.
From the Pennsylvania Turnpike (west of Pittsburgh)
If you are traveling to on the Pennsylvania Turnpike from points west of Pittsburgh, take the “Cranberry Exit/Exit 28 (Old Exit 4)” to Route 19 South. Continue to Interstate 79, heading south to Pittsburgh. When Interstate 79 splits, bear left toward Interstate 279. This juncture is clearly marked “Pittsburgh.”
Follow 279 to “Exit 14, Veterans Bridge.” This becomes Route 579. Cross Veterans Bridge and get in the middle lane to exit at “Sixth Avenue Exit” (Consol Energy Center). Follow signs for the Consol Energy Center. Bear left and you will then come to a set of traffic lights.
